As the title suggests, I need some ideas as to additional fish and scaping ideas to go in my new tank i am picking up Sunday. It is 6x2x2 and I am inheriting a common plec
but am putting my current stock from 3ft tank in (list is in my sig)
I currently have Java Fern and java moss in my 3ft tank, and half a dozen decent sized rocks along with a bit of slate. I am putting sand in this.

looking forward to your ideas

hmmm more angel fish and some rams? corys? I have a thing for sterbai and smudge spot corys :p
Plant it up and add some big bits of wood!

hmmm....also maybe need a midlevel schooler that the angels won't eat :p
Very jealous of this tank hehe. What colour sand are you adding?
Edit: hmmm is there going to be any room in the bottom with that big ol' pleco tho? :/ maybe scratch the rams... :dunno:

I am only using Argos Play sand - I am going to trasnfer the sand from my current tank into this one along with some new stuff (going to be washed tonight) :good:

ahhh he's nice :)

Have fun washing enough sand for a 6 footer! the wooden spoon is your friend!

Looking at a shoal of something, Neons are out - Cardinals maybe - Some type of tetra that has some color to it. Thinking about Bala Sharks and possibly Severums

ooh sticking to the big boys! Well I know nothing about those tpyes of fish lol.

I have to say, though I LOVE the look of cardinals (so nice and chunky when adult too) I found them insanely boring and so rehomed them, I had a group of 13. They just sort of hovered about like they weren't really sure where they were going, drove me nuts! Plus they started to get bit nippy with other fish - not cool!

ZoddyZod's BNs stir up his playsand and turn his water to "milk" :p

I wouldnt go for Bala sharks personally. They should be kept in groups of six, your tanks not anywhere big enough for that.
