Hey,
I've been keeping fish for a few years now and I've recently got a 45g tank (4fter) or it could be 55g (I don't do this system...I do normal) so its 200 litres
Anyway, I was wondering why my drift wood pieces still tan the water ( I know its good for the fish etc...but I hate it, it makes my tank look very dark) I've boiled the wood several times for several hours....and I've changed water up to 50%....60% and still...to no avail, my water goes brown/yellow within a day
. Just wondering whether there are any other thing si could do.
Also my second thing is, I've got a Resun AE-806 runnin in the tank (which is built for a 500 litre tank...so i got plenty of filtration). I have slowed the flow by making it trickle down....
Now I was wondering whether Agassisis dwarfs and cockatoo dwarfs could go together (lets say a pair of each) I have two distinct caves quite a distance from each other.
Other tankmates in there....include a variety of tetras ( I think
i have 6 glowlight tetras, 6 red eyed, 8 neons, 1 cardinal and 5 black neons....may add more) I also have 3 bristlnose plecs in there and one cory....(I am getting a few more...i know there schoolers
) and so I was wondering whether the two dwarfs could go together. AND/or any other suggestions
