Hello.
I am new to this board and relatively new to fishkeeping.
I have had some experience with fish before but not very good experience in that those fish died...But I am determined to make things right and good for my new fish.
My person is as follows.
My name is Michelle. I live in a insignificant hick town in upstate New York but that doesn't really matter...I am currently a freshmen in college studying Psychology and aspire to be a psychiatrist. I am very open-minded and follow "alternative" lifestyles not commonly ventured by the "average" individual (of the masses). I am individualistic, open-minded, intelligent, and a nice girl.
I am a very artistic person with much interest in the arts, writing, literature, and music.
Musical interests include (but not limited to): Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Patti Smith, Nirvana, Blur, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Sinead O'Conner, and Madonna among others.
Authors/poets holding most my interest currently: Edgar Allen Poe, Clive Barker, and Stephen King, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickenson, Robert Frost, Nicole Blackman, and M. Doughtey among others.
I enjoy comics as well, my favorites being those by Jhonen Vasquez, mainly Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Squee, and I Feel Sick. I also like Invader Zim.
I also enjoy movies, usually horror and/or suspense, and independent films.
My hobbies include drawing, painting, reading, and writing.
