A decent picture of a fish!

fantastic.. I'll have to show this to my girlfriend, we have 3 pigmys and she would love 20+ :D

did you do anything to get them to spawn? did they really take just 2 days to settle in and get down to it?

Wow FOTM on the first pic.

how on earth did you manage to take such a sharp picture? Great work!

Thank you =)

It's a Canon Powershot A80.

4.0 Megapixel CCD
3x optical zoom (11x combined zoom)
12 shooting modes plus 2 custom settings
DIGIC processor with iSAPS technology
9-point AiAF
Vari-angle LCD

And since I have no idea what some of those things mean, here is a link to the specs:

Manual focus and other manual settings are cool. I am starting to learn how to make the camera to do stuff properly =)

My Betta ladies, first, LoveYouLongTime:

And Bluey (yes, quite original name):

Thanks =)

It was the easiest way to take sharp pictures of them. And I could rest my hands while waiting for them to come and check if I would give them food (hungry ladies, you know).

I have always wanted to get good pictures of my snails. I am a weirdo and keep them as pets.

Common pond snail (Lymnaea peregra) on the left, Physa fontinalis on the right

Physa fontinalis, a ramshorn snail (Gyraulus sp.) and a malaysian tumpet snail (Melanoides tuberculata)

Oh, forgot to tell their sizes. Ramshorn snail about 3-5mm, Physa fontinalis about 9-10mm, common pond snail about 15mm and malaysian trumpet snail 15mm.

Karkki (he injured his fins a while ago, I suppose they will never heal properly, but he is still handsome  )
