I just checked on Aquabid and found these -- http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/clo...ntoid1107372611

After exchanging a couple e-mails with the seller (he had no feedback so I was a bit concerned), I decided to do the "Buy It Now" for $11.

I'm SOOOO excited!! :kana: :kana:

6 is more than what I planned to get ... but that's ok. I'll make room. Excuses to get more tanks. ;) MTS strikes again!!

Hi mandi :)

Good for you!

They will make a perfect additon to your lovely tank.

That's great! :) Be sure to take pictures ;) Sorry I didn't reply to your post earlier - I've been busy lately and only checked today. Anyway, I know it's kind of late but I though you may still want to know about the dwarf gouramies. Basicaly, the males in particular are more aggressive towards each other and slightly larger than honeys so you wouldn't be able to keep as many as you can keep honeys. The reason I gave you the scientific names was because of the confusion with the common names :). Many gouramies seem to be called 'honeys' and 'dwarfs' - or both :p...

As you may have noticed in the other thread (here - http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=75483) I managed to find some Honey Gouramies (Colisa sota - NOT dwarf ones!) on Aquabid!! :D

I paid for 6 of them, and he sent 2 extras just in case. I'm not sure of the male/female ratio yet b/c they're really too young to tell - but the breeder tried to give me what he belived to be a few of each. Some appear to have slighly pointier dorsals, and some have a bright orange strip along the edge of their dorsal & anal fins, so I dunno. I guess we'll see as they get bigger. The guy has some more for sale on Aquabid as well, so if anyone else is interested, I'd say go for it -- he's a good seller and packed them very well, and the fish look very young and healthy.

Now I just have to figure out what to DO with them (planned on getting 5, paid for 6, wound up with 8 ). Gotta get another tank up & cycling before they get much bigger!!!
