A Beautiful New Male Betta! Purple, Pink & Lively!

Just wanted to share my delight at having one of these friendly, personable fish again in our home!! So beautiful! I missed having a betta for many months!! I'm afraid to name him for fear of getting attached to these delicate creatures...and then losing them!

And this didn't help--silliness-I have to share a funny observation re bettas with anyone familiar with Microsoft Word program's "little helper." With the big eyes (he's a paper clip with eyes!), he kept reminding me of my first betta who we lost this year!

So I just wanted to celebrate with my fishy friends--a new addition to our household.

I know you're all with me, with or without gills.

Thanks to all for all the support and welcomes, but I'm embarrassed to admit, since I'm a photographer, that I haven't been able to figure out how to get my digital camera images onto my computer!! Luckily, someone else had the same problem on our forum and I got a hint to sign up with Photobucket, which I have. I just have to photograph the little guy--don't want to scare him with a flash since it's his second day here...I will get back to you as soon as I can with my little honey!!

MEANWHILE, I'M ALSO CAUGHT UP IN THE MID-TERM ELECTIONS HERE IN THE USA!! HOPEFULLY, ALL AMERICANS ON THIS FORUM HAVE VOTED TODAY--so that we can take back our country and make it safe and happy for all of our fish and ourselves.! (Pardon the pitch--it's a very exciting day here--hopefully, we can get some of the power away from our "dictator" Bush--and bring back civility to our country and our world.
