A Almost Disaster

when i woke this morning my piranha were gasping at the surface nearly dead,both the filters had decided to stop running on the same night i allways have at least 2 filters on any tank incase one packs up,but what are the chances on that happening to both not only this the fish hadnt touched their dinner from the night before so there was 8 rotting fish on the bottom of the tank polluting the water.i usually watch them eat and take out the leftovers but i was so tired i threw them in and went to bed
so i was racing around half asleep at 7am cleaning filters and changing water

sounds like you had a power zap. I would plug the filters into separate sockets, or at least a circuit breaker....

its good you caught it just in time dude.

im really paranoid about my tanks. im skinter than skint could ever be so ive had to leave water changes for a week (no dechlorinator ).

im sure theyll be fine cos ive done them once a week for over a year but it jus doesnt feel right


need to get paid!
