Okay, so I've never had mollies before. I bought these six about 2.5 months ago when they were in a molly fry tank at the LFS. It's a really nice, little LFS. Anyway, 4 have grown to be about 2 inch mollys, but two are stunted at only an inch, or are still not grown, or maybe they are platies?? I don't know.

Plus my white molly is big, about to explode big. I haven't seen any babies yet (that I know of). And my orange molly also looks to be getting a little plump. Anyone know what I can expect?? I haven't sex any of them yet either, so anyone who does -- thanks! I know I should have already -- I hope I haven't harmed them by just letting them do their thing.

Here's the four big mollies. Hard to see the two black ones. And the white molly looks huge!

Here's the 4 giving me the evil eye.

Lovely fish! The small ones are Platies though, both appearing to be males. :) For the Molly sexing, it's hard to tell in the group shots, but in the individual ones, it's: F, F, M, F as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the replay Annastasia! So can I keep my current setup with the two little guys being male platies? :crosses fingers: I'm just so attached to all of them.

Very pretty fish. I really like the close up pictures at the bottom.

I noticed in your little signature-thing it says you have 8 glofish danios. I researched these fishes when I was in a biology class. Where did you get them? They are so pretty. Where they expensive?

Sorry for so many questions. :)

nice fish! :kewlpics: my friend loves those gold nugget mollies so much, she just got 2 more today! also props to ur pictures because it's so hard for me to do with my fish they're so darn fast!! oh and i know females have a fan-like bottom fin underneath them, and males have a long stringy one, if that helps at all haha.

Thanks for the nice comments!

I wish I could take pictures of them without the flash but they are extremely fast. So I have flash spots on them occassionally and their scales sometimes get washed out. :/

Kyle B, I got the glofish at I would say the best little LFS near me, here in Houston called Tropical Fish Depot, I45 exit Almeda. They were $5 each. Here's my thread about them. http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=132766 It seems I have one hunchback and one runt out of the 8 though.
