Heya folks, I've been gone for about 10 months so I guess I should say hello first.
While I was gone I continued to work on several of the tanks I have posted pics of before but I also upgraded to an 86 gallon tank.

Here's a couple of pics.

Initial set up:

1 week after set up:

Plants: Java fern, anubius, sag, several types of crypts and a wee bit of java moss.
I'm using a 48 inch T-8 double coralife light fixture, a fluvol 404, several powerheads and 2 200 watt tronic heaters as of now.
I plan on going with pressurized C02 in the near future too.

Here's a quick pic of my 25 gallon planted:

I'll take some more pics soon of my other tanks and this one as well.

Very nice like the ragged edges of the plants, very rustic. What fish do you have in the tanks?

Thanks! :)

The plan indeed is too fill out the entire back wall with java fern.
Maybe one or two pieces of wood covered in anubius.

Sorry to the mods btw....I spose I should of posted this in the members pics forum.

Again, I've been gone for 10 months, I got kinda excited when the cable guy showed up and gave me my internet back. :p

Well, since its in this forum I'll ask a question about jave ferns.....never mind.....anyone can keep java fern alive. :X

The 25 Gallon is inhabited by several tetra's, bloodfins, red eye's, glow lights, among a few others, including white clouds, rasbora's and a rather large Aequidens metae.
There is also a breeding pair of bristlenose plecs, a pair of khuli loaches and SAE.

The 86 gallon has 6 angels, 5 pelvicachromis pulchers(1 breeding pair and about 25 fry atm), 4 agazzi apisto's (a breeding pair), 4 bronze cory's, 4 leopard cory's, 4 pepper cory's, 4 white tip cory's, 4 swartzi cory's, 2 clown plecs, 1 snowball plec, and approx 15 otto's.

The ragged edges of the java fern was caused by the dealer I bought them from, he left them floating in the tanks, I'm hoping soon they'll return to a more normal growth pattern now that they are tied to the bogwood.

As for the 25 gallon, it's been about a month since that pic was taken, the growth since has been outrageous.
I'll post some more pics soon.

Thanks to all for the nice comments. :)
