85 Gallon Tank Arrived

wills that nicaraguan is a beaut as well. getting some serious fish envy from this forum.

think ive found my jd. going to go check him/her out at the weekend. which colour up better - male or female?

also would a convict work with a jd and a sev? or would the sev be on the end of too much aggression? im thinking thos 3 would be nice and striking as mid sized cichlids..and none of them getting too big for the tank?

i want to stick with the fish for the full lifespan so may have a look at some of the cupids (but can be pricey from the ones ive seen) or maybe pick up one of the numerous free plecs that you see advertised in london! (as you can tell, i'm pretty fickle about stocking!)

anyway friday tomorrow, and got a lot of flexitime to take this month so going to leave nice and early from work and try and make my mind up!!!

How are your stocking plans coming along? I'm quite set on the cupids for my tank. Will be keeping an eye out for some in the next few weeks

still working on the final list...think im set on the larger fish, its just getting the bottom and top sorted now!

think its going to end up with a sev, jd, flagtail catfish, colombian tetra and that will be my lot. but as with everything its always open to change - i saw a nicaraguan for sale this weekend and now thats stuck in my mind! also been thinking about maybe adding barbs instead of tetra for the colour and activity, but not sure yet.

the cupids are great but expensive from when ive seen them. ive seen a lot of guianacara geayi recently, and they might be worth having a look at as an alternative?

hoping to get some pictures up soon, but still working out my new phone!
