Hi Everyone,
Well My mum is looking to travel so she gave me her 4yro Red Devil.
His name is Jim (Hence the Jim Beam Bottles in his tank) and we have had him since he was a little ugly ducking!
He has now of cource grown into a beautifull friend and big part of the family. He is such a character!! And is great to watch..
He moves the tank around till HE"S happy with it, You can see in one of the pics that he has made a bare spot where he sits and looks at his reflection on the floor of the tank..
He swims right up to the top of the tank so his hump is out of the water and likes it when we pat him on the head..
About 2 yrs ago he tried to swallow a fish and got it stuck in his mouth! We had to wrap him in a teatowel and remove the fish! From there I think he has been too scared to try eating on again..
We have recently added some new fish for Jim to boss around. And they are all living together fine.. Here are some pics of Jim..
