... ok i finally decided on a tank size lol, after so long and so many post i getting a 75g and my main fish are angels. What can i do for bot? i was think an elephant nose but i want something else to, would a rainbow work if i heavy planted it and put caes on opposite sides? and I have no idea for top lol all suggestions open as long as i have my angels and either a elephant or rainbow on bot.

I'm assuming "bot" is slang for bottom of the tank, in which case an elephant nose would be fine. I have heard they are hard to feed and are kinda sensitive, but I haven't kept them personally. A rainbow (Rainbow Shark?) might nip the elephant nose when the shark is full grown, but the tank might be big enough for the rainbow to claim it's own territory. Angels are beautiful, I had a spawning pair once, unfortunately they passed away last year. In a 75G I would do 6 max. CAEs may nibble your plants, and once grow larger (I have seen 7 inches) may be rather belligerent to your other fish. It may develop a taste for your elephant nose's slime coat :/

I would suggest a school of larger cories, they do very well with angels. Maybe a pleco, although once again, it too may eat your plants. Upside Down African Cats are always fun to watch, i'm considering buying some myself, actually. A school of larger tetras would be awesome, like Black widows or Lemon tetras. Your stocking as of now leaves you very wide open for choices, so it's a bit difficult to advise, except future tankmates should not be aggressive, but I bet you already knew that. I've listed a few of my favorites, but really, it all depends on what you want.

I have a full grown rainbow shark that is happy with 2 angels, ive had him for almost a year with the angels.  i love the rainbow shark, hes always getting into the rocks and crevices looking for food.

ok so 5 angels, 8 blackwidows, the rainbow, the elephant nose, and 2-3 upside down catfish should do well in a planted 75g.

turns out the tank was mislabeled and only 65g but i figure it will still work.

I would forget the elephant nose. They really do better in a specialist set up and would almost certainly be out competed for food by the synodontis.

not getting syndontis anymore, just the angels, tetras, some hatchetfish, corys, and the elephant. I figure as long as i get the food to the bottom nothing will compete with him.

and if that wont work then what else can i get for bottom, i was thinking about dragon goby but once again feeding is a pain, I want something big and unique not like a pleco.

You can always get bichirs probably sengal as they are smallest at full size, or a freshwater moray/snowflake eel, but im not sure about your substrate for eels, you need a soft substrate for eels, and loaches are really cool to, should be kept in groups as well. Elephant nose fish need to be kept with other slow eating fish and mostly eat at night, so choose wisely if your getting one.

How about:
4 angelfish
5-7 gold barbs
1 delhizi bichir
And
Maybe 1 African Butterfly Fish? They are kinda a specialist fish, but if you don't have a lot of moving water on the top of your tank then one might be kinda cool.

im doing 5 angels, 8 black widow tetras, and hatchet fish at top for sure just trying to decide bottom. the birchirs all get to big its an octagonal tank so its only 2x2 on bottom I think im just gonna establish a blackworm and amphipod colony then get the elephant nose. if it doesn't work out ill find something else ( im getting cory cats to so it has to go with them)
