Well i have had this 75 gallon running for about 3 weeks now. It currently has a Eheim classic 250 only on it since i only have 2 bags of Eco-Complete in there. I have ordered 3 more bags of Eco-Complete. I am still wondering what light to put on the tank. I am going for a hi-tech planted tank so i am currently looking at Sunlight Supply Tek Light High Output Fluorescent Lighting Fixtures. It has four 54 watt t-5 HO bulbs. I am open to suggestions on the 4 kind of bulbs to run on this. I was thinking of using two flora sun and two ultra sun bulbs by zoo med. Their spectrum being 4000K and 6500K. As for c02 systems i do not have a lot of room since i have a 40 gallon breeder under the tank stand as a quarantine tank for all new fish i get for the tank. Gives me the chance to observe new arrivals and treat them for any possible disease they may be carrying. I currently have a 29 gallon in the living room which has an Eheim Pro 3 2017 with a coralife 3x Turbo Twist 9watt UV sterilizer on the out take of the filter. So i plan to add it to the 75 so it will have the Eheim classic 250 already 3 weeks running on the system along with this mature filter which has been sitting on the 29 gallon for 2 years.
I just need to know what kind of lighting would you guys use? What kind of CO2 system that is not extremely large but has reasonable long term cost. Also i will be suspending the lights.
