So I have a 75 gallon tank and I put 3 assassin snails in there, but now they seem to have bloomed like crazy. They are all over the tank and glass, I mean it doesn't bother me terribly but I would like to get rid of them without causing a ammonia spike. Maybe add more assassin snails? Just wanna get rid of the little things lol.

Catch them and sell them (or kill them outside the tank once you've caught them). Try putting some meaty sort of food (mine love catfish pellets) into a jar or clean ice cream/margarine tub; preferably with some small holes cut in the lid, so only the snails can get in as, if you just put the food in, all the snails drop back off when you try and move it!

You could also think about cutting back on your feeding. Over feeding of tanks is the most common (although not the only) cause of snail population explosions.

They are smaller than the sandy gravel I have lol and the food gets eaten as far as I can see so maybe I'll try the jar, thanks.
