60 Litre With Space :d

ok i have a 60 litre tank now with about 2 bn plecos in it ... im guna send em back to the store as they are a pest ... jumping in tha filter and breeding too much .... any suggestions on what i should so ... i have a few ideas

planted comunity with CO2, (10 x neon tetra, 5x pygmy cories)
amazon biotope ( may keep bns )
asian biotope (with a dwarf gourami and a few honeys)
extra hospital (lame)
dwarf cichlid tank ( some sort of small apisto)
leopard gecko tank
tarantula


any other ideas?

If it were me I'd put in either a betta girl sorority or an all male guppy tank

Planted Community with 12X Cardinal Tetras and 5X Cory's

Cardinal as they are hardier than neon, but make sure tank is atleast 6 months old before adding them.

im not a retard ive had the tank for over a year now and smaller tanks are better than bigger ones !

you think small tanks are better? really? i like my 130 gallon way better than my 17.5 gallon, you cant put anything in a small tank.

i prefer smaller tanks also, cheaper to run, and there is more scope for planning

yeh ... an you dont have to buy a ridicolous amount of substrat ... plus CO2 lasts longer, reakly easy to run and little fish are always better than big fish

they are cheap to run, but once you get a really large tank running it would be awsome, plus you can have some huge and awsome fish

i duno ... big tanks take up way to much space ....
id take a 60 litre tank with tiger barbs in it than an african cichlid ... personaly i think its a bit cruel to keep any fish bigger than 20 inches ... but thats just me

unless its like a knife fish or something ... but stuff like giant gouramis and red tails cant be house properly

big tanks rule..yeah there a pain with water changes but you can have a bigger variety of fish in them

in my 130 gallon the biggest fish will be some 6 inch SAE's and some 6 inch BN plecs, i love community tanks so ill be haveing tonnes of little fish instead of something like oscars.

ANYWAYS, what about, a planted (subtly) tank with some interesting shoaling fish? allowing you to have a little more than normal with something fun to watch?

like cardinals or harlequins?

sounds good to me ... i think ill do a CO2 planted with cardinals ... and mabe some green/ blac k neons
