6 Fish, 29 Gal. Tank

i think its fine. your yoyo will be loney though. If you can, set up a tank for him and a few yoyo friends. Who knows though, he may do fine and pal around with the cories.

I actually just thought of a fish that I would like to have: Boesemani Rainbow fish! So, how could I fit them in with the stocking plan I already have thought of? I have not got the fish yet so the only fish that cannot be canceled out are the one yoyo, clown pleco, two corys, betta, and platy. Also, how many rainbows? I have never kept them before so this is new to me.

I would say no to the rainbows. They are really active fish, and need a tank of at least 40gal IMO.

Yeah i'd say no rainbows.
in my 29g i have

8 cardinal tetras
2 panda cories
3 upside down catfish
6 black kuhlie loaches
6 black phantom tetras
1 marbled hatchet (getting more)
1 praecox rainbow (getting rid of)
2 'white neons'
6 otos

it seems like a lot but I do 40% weekly water changes and nitrates never go above 20.

the kuhlie loaches are pretty interesting, as are the upside down catfish. The UD catfish are for the most part, nocturnal. Another interesting fish that you might like are glass catfish. They get to about 4 inches and MUST be in groups. they are very peaceful.
