55g Discus tank update...

Its been a while since ive posted in here so i thought id post a pic of my planted 55g discus tank... Im fighting a bit/alot of BGA at the moment so bare with me on that one lol Its changed alot since my sig pic so yea tell me what you think and i Hope you enjoy!

pretty are the neons starting to become discus snacks ?

The neons wont be eaten by the Discus provided there is a large group of them. Same goes for most larger fish. Unless it is a predatory fish you will often get away with mixing large and smaller fish as long as you have a large group of the smaller fish.

Although keep in mind alot of fish ARE predatory so pick well..

yeah, my discus ate 20 cardinals an inch plus long in about 45 minutes.

well obviously your tank was not properly decorated, enough tall plants like vallis... I have seen LOTS of setups with tetras and discus in. As long as you dont add a Discus which has been in another tank where it is used to eating small fish you shouldnt have alot of problems.
