That look great mate.
I love the wood, whenever I go to the LFS they only have crappy bits for sale.
Same gravel I just got for my Roma 240 looks nice.

i can see where they are coming from and well done @ taking some criticism Minnt. Have you been to the MA at Bridgeford yet, they have some nice Sumatra at the min.

now here's what i'd do, if it were my wood...that wood would be over in the left hand corner with the branches protruding outwards, the rock would then be introduced to my hammer and broken into a few smaller pieces, which is placed around the base of the wood. This wood give it a more nature aquarium look.

I don't mind taking the criticism mate, if it means i get a better looking tank then i am happy. :good:

No need to smash the rock, i have literally got loads of the stuff so maybe it is just a case of picking some better pieces.

In all fairness, the wood is too big for the tank, but it's all i have. Well, i have something else that may work actually, but the wood is lighter in colour, which actually might look pretty decent and stand out more.

Haven't been to the MA at EB yet, it's on my list though.

Thanks. The shrimp are in off caz, they're excellent! Never had them before and are so pleasureable to watch. Very interesting indeed! Can see doing anything with the tank now is going to be a nightmare though, even adding plants!

I agree with Ian it would look a lot better to have the branches going outward into the aquarium

I will swap it around then when i get chance. I'm frightened to death though now with the shrimp in there incase a flatten one
