I haven't posted pictures in months and since I just redid some things in it I thought it would be worth it to post a few. I switched to gravel because I was tired of sand and the way it looked. I also got a few new fake plants and a couple pots. I also got rid of a piece of driftwood because whatever I did it always made the tank look yellow. Sorry about the relections. Anyway.. here are the pictures. Enjoy. :)

FeatherFin Syno. About 2.3"

Firemouth(1 of 2). About 3"

Turquiose Sev. About 2.1"

That's very nice! Good fish pics too. I wanted firemouths but went with peacock (flametails) in the end. When they're bigger will post pics.

I was told I could only have what I have now without it being overstocked down the line. I have a sev, 2 firemouths and the syno featherfin. My firemouths are about 3 months older than when I first got them, my sev is a little less than that. Most of the time my fish just hover in the water.. Kind of like watching paint dry. About 90% of the time I look at my tank my fish are either gliding or hovering. Heh.

you could probably put some dithers in there, such as black skirt tetras with short fins. Or maybe some other fast moving tetra. I have black skirts with some of my aggressive cichlids, they work great

bhahahhahah thats pathetic... who told u that, beat them with a stick...

firemouths grow to maybe 6 inches... a sevs gets to max 12.. so thats not very much fish att allll, but i kinda like to stock my tanks to da max.. but still that tank has tons of room, god that must be boring watching 4 fish

lol, anyone have any suggestions? I don't know much about tetras, therefore I don't know which ones are so called fast. :) Any ideas?

Cichlid, i would like to know what your tanks stock is. Can you please list the fish and the size tank they are in?

StarOrbs, Its better to keep a tank understocked then over stocked, so dont get any more cichlids until you are absolutly SURE that they wouldnt kill eachother. Just dont do anything dumb and get like a Jaguar cichlid or something. I know you probably wouldnt do that, but I think your tank is fine now. I suggest that you get a school of some short fined black skirt tetras. You dont have to, but if your fish are hiding alot, they will come out more probably. In my 55 gal, the cichlids would ALWAYS hide. I have 2 geophagus surnamensis, 1 firemouth cichlid, and check my profile for the other un-cichlid fish. Now since i added some rainbow fish, they come out alot more then they used to, and i can see the nice patterns on their scales.

Sounds good to me, it would be nice to a have a school of fish in the tank. :) So any larger fast tetra that doesn't have long fins would be alright?

cichlid! stop telling people to do things the wrong way. Just because you like to overstock doesnt mean everyone else has to!

Thanks ann. :) I was about to get 8 Short-Finned black skirt tetras but a couple of them ICH. I'll have to try the good pet store. :) Is there any other schooling, or something else I can put. I tried to find the so called "fast" tetras but I can't seem to find it. Any Ideas?

I dont know anything about tetras. :p . i just know that short fined black skirt tetras are fast and good dithers. one of the head people in the cichlid forum told me that. Just get the cheapest tetras and see which ones survive
