beutiful pictures mate, ho did you acheive this with kitchen roll , :blush: id luv to get pics like that all i get is a big flash on the glass

My fish usually have go faster stripes and wizz passed leaving a nice blured pic :shout:

What settings have you got the camera on?

Edit: No need to tell me I just googled searched that camera, Awesome, want one, can't affored it.

I used an Canon EOS 300D (6.2mp). Settings were:

Shutter: 1/80sec
Aperture: F/5
ISO: 400

The flash technique I used was simply folding a piece of white kitchen towel/paper so it was about 4 layers thick (I played about taking test shots to get it looking good). I then used an elastic band to hold it in place over the flash :) Diffuses the flash so you don't get reflections too much. Oh, and I was shooting in a pitch black room too! Just the fish tank lights on.

Because the room was dark I think the fish were more relaxed as they couldn't see me, so they were willing to stay still longer :)
