50G!

Woot! moving on up! xD I just got a free 50G + wooden stand from a family friend. Sadly no filter or lighting equipment, but still awesome!

Problem is it is VERY cloudy/dirty - is there a way to fix this? I hear about people cleaning tanks off ebay all the time but what is safe to clean with? and is it possible to make it "clear" again? I'm not sure if its just really dirty or scratched up.

weak bleach, weak salt water... I just use plain old water and a scouring pad though.

one of my tanks started like that, id advise just using water and keep wiping it down

Yeh, warm water maybe even a bit of vinegar and a decent non abrasive cloth and a good bit of rinsing and washing!

but it looks salvageable? I'm very excited but I just hope I can get rid of the cloudiness.
