5 Gallon Tankmates?

Hi all.

I have a 5 gallon marineland crescent that currently houses my betta. I want to add a few Ember tetras soon,nand same with shrimp. Could i keep anything else in here or would it be full?

Most male betta won't tolerate tank mates. Especially tetras, as they tend to nip betta fins.

Shrimp will probably become food for the fish in the tank.

I'd recomend a snail or other hardy invert.

Larger shrimp should be safe, as long as there are plenty of hiding places. As for other fish, some micro rasboras would be a better choice, or maybe some endlers.
