5 Gallon Tank For Shrimp Substrate

well we have a few of these around the house, was wondering if they would work for my 5 gallon freshwater shrimp tank

I probably wouldn't put them in as in the description it mentions acrylic paint. Not sure if it's safe or not.

OMG, they have IKEA in the USA? I thought the affordable sweedish rubbish was limited to Europe lol.

I would say probably not as you don't know whats in it, shrimp are quite sensitive to bad things in the water so its better safe than sorry.

I just have plain black gravel in my tank you can use any cheap aquarium gravel or play sand in there with no problems.

cant you get pretty cheap sand at like home depot or any place that does landscaping? I heard silica sand or what the use to put under above ground pools is fine.
