4Th Generation Mollie Issue

Bought some mollies last year though I would try my hand at the tropical fish. I'm now on my 4th generation on Mollies but I think I have a murder in the tank, the past 4 days I have woke to at least one dead Mollie, including the God Mother, Poseidon bless her sole. The smaller ones, have fins and no eyes, now I understand that females get more aggressive when pregnant and that the males can also be aggressive (please correct me if I’m wrong I'm self teaching here) but I have 15 left out of the tank full of 23. There dropping like flies!! All normal checks come back fine.

Any help to for fish behaviours I’m looking for here? is this a characteristic of the Mollie that it dawns the mask of 1950’s husband/wife beater??

Is there anything else in the tank? Could they be getting caught in the filter?

Its rear filtration system with couple of orniments, no live plant food(been reading that maybe that might calm them down, if I put some in that is)

How long have they lived like that for? sounds like you may have a few to manny fish in there for the size of the tank
