I'm looking to get a stand for my current 4ft,2,2 (this is the problem 2ft wide) tank as I'm going to be moving it and what it currently is on wont fit in the new place, the problem I'm having is the prices of new cabinets I could get a preowned from eBay etc with the tank for cheaper than just what the cabinet would cost so is there any places that are cheap? If not I might go for something that is not specifically for a fish tank like I have atm

Not sure where you're located... Fish tank stands are expensive! I scored one of craigslist for next to nothing. You could try there.

If that didn't happen for me I was gonna go the d.i.y route myself. Then it would look exactly how you want and be cheaper...

I agree, do the diy route, I can't remember the name but there is a website that tells you how to build one to aquarium weight standard, it will look as good as you want then at a fraction of the cost.

Charity shops for tables, desks etc.
I got a great stand for my 3.5ft cold water tank from the Heart foundation.

That's what I was thinking with charity shops seems hard to get 1 that is 2f wide

Just be careful you get one with sufficient weight support.. that's gonna be a LOT of weight

Good luck with finding a suitable bit of furniture in a charity shop that can hold ~600Kg for years!!!!!

Tanks this size need either good diy skills, a lucky find of an advert for a fish stand, or industrial racking such as...
