I like it alot. Have you thought of a plain background, would bring out the fish abit more. My tank was very much like yours with no background. I put on a black background and the difference was startling. Very nice. :good:

Nice! There is alot of plants in there. Great pictures too!

I'm also a member of the no back ground club

i actually have been thinking of getting a black background! ive seen some and they look really nice but ive also seen some that dont look as well so i am still considering it

Nice tank very natural with all the wood :)

Bit worried about the catfish at the end am I right in thinking its a sub adult Synodontis Eupterous? If so a 46 gallon tank is quite small for them really they get pretty big. Also I would be a bit worried about the small fish with him/her as well as they can eat fish as they grow - I lost a school of danio to one I had in a 90g a few years ago.

its a featherfin catfish. it gets about six inches long and ive had an adult one until a week ago when it jumped out. i recently got this one. they are a bit territorial but i have even had guppy fry in with him and he did not eat them but thank you for your concern! i have seen people buy cats that ended up being huge tank busters!

Very nice. I really like the fluffy plant on the left and the wood.

I did a DIY black background on my tank by just spray painting it black! Super easy and very effective, but (obviously) easier to do when it's empty!

thats actually a good idea! but ya that does not sound so easy with water and fish in it!

and which fluffy plant are you referring to? the tall hornwort in the corner or the java moss growing on the wood?
