hi i have a 46 g tank and i thought i could only keep 200cm of fish?

yea i thought the same...does any1 else have any opinion on my proposed fish stocking plan?

isnt the old rule of thumb 1" to every square inch of surface or something?

well whatever, things have moved on somewhat from those days, filter systems are much better.
i think maybe there ia a more widespread understanding of how to run a planted tank developed also
i guess a healthy well planted tank that has good maintenance could "safely" have a much larger stock than a non planted tank

and could someone help me with which fish to add first? i know certain fish require more of an established tank than others

Something like this: 1st Agassizi's, 2nd Bolivian's, 3rd Hatchet's, 4th Pencil's, 5th Cory's, 6th Keyhole's, 7th Bristlenose, 8th Apple Snail, 9th King Tiger, 10th and last Cardinals. Make sure that you leave at least 2 weeks inbetween adding stock.
