42 Gallon

Hi all just want to verify this stocking for a 42 gallon tank

8 Black phantoms
8 Panda corys
8 Rosy tetras
3 BNs (1 male, 2 females)
4 Upside down catfish
2 Keyholes
too little,too many or just right?

I'd say just right as long as your maintenance and test results are good.

Nice stocking too.

If you can aquire another few Upside Down Catfish (if yours are Synotontis nigriventris), you would get a lot more out of the group. These guys are as social as the American corydoras

thanks james ,and goat would 6 catfish be ok if i lower the number of rosy tetras to 6?

I wouldn't say you need to "sacrifice" two Rosy Tetra to up the Synodontis nigriventris to six.

Incidentally, what filtration have you got in the 42 gallon tank?
