4000 gallon tank!!!!!!

This is the tank of my dreams, not that i'd have the space or could afford it but i can still drool over the pics and dream of what i might put in it .
I thought i might share it with you guys.

This is my dream tank.. I get to swim in it and work around it all day.

Now, I do realize these come from Google Images, but that's because I haven't brought a camera into work yet. But I do in fact work at Marineland, so please don't accuse me of stealing pictures and claiming crap. Once I get the chance there'll be pics of me with these tanks, I swear.
Even if I have to ask my boss to take them.

Well, you could put a million neon tetras in i suppose...They'd probably just hypnotize you though with their sketchy shoaling and colors...Wouldn't come outa the house for days...

That's gorgeous!

But it's nothing compared to the project that they're building in Bedford (UK) which will have three 18233000 gallon aquariums.

Yes, you read that correctly, that's three, eighteen-point-two million gallon aquariums.

One of them will be a Mekong biotope with a school of ten-foot mekong catfish.

And the best thing of all is that Bedford is only an hour's drive away for me!
Roll on 2009!

Wow, what gorgeous tanks....I love that 4000 marine one...imagine that in your living room.

Thats alot of neon tetras lol...

Its good news though they're putting a mekong giant catfish in because their habitats are virtually gone now and are the verge of extinction...which is a shame realy because they're a one of a kind catfish.

When I'm rich....
I'd kill to have a tank like that... and a professional to clean it for me. I would fill it with large cichlids and giant gouramis!

if i was that rich... i'd set up an "Amazon Cocktail Lounge" with a huge wall tank FULL of neons and an angel or two to encourage schooling. then just a general biotope communtiy tank with rams, etc. then finally a long low tank with fancy plecs, schooling fish and a couple SAPs.


oh, and my indoor Mbu pool in the basement. B)
