40 Gallon Good For Mbuna?

im looking at getting, a used 40 gallon, i was thinking if i could do somthing like 3 socofoli, 3 yellow labs, and 3 red zebras? would that work, for a lower aggression level mbuna tank?

If it's a 4-ft tank, that stocking would be just fine. If not, then unfortunately no; even low aggression mbuna are extremely aggressive compared to "standard" community fish. Without the four foot length, it's just not long enough for any sub-dominant fish to get far enough from a dominant's territory.
