4 Foot Tank Setup

Ive got a 4foot tank as a gift.... got a leak and will be repairing this week using the guide founded on the forum.

The back panel has two holes for piping... Any sugestions on an external filter system i could use like pond filter?? like this one

any other suggestions on hardware?? the airpumps is also old and noisy (4 of them)

Please help me cause it came with 2 fullgrown Spotted Raphael Catfishes, 1 striped. they currently in a hospital tank....

Please any suugestions will be helpfull as i really love these catfishes!!!
