4.5 Inch By 4.5 Inch By 9 Inch Tank?

Some people keep saying that a tank must to huge to accomadate betta fish.

I bought a glass tank that is 4.5 inch by 4.5 inch by 9 inch. I was wondering if this will be enough to substain a betta for a long period of time?

It's a 1 gallon roughly. I would say so. I'm keeping my Betta in a 1/2 gallon until further notice.

it is just about big enough for a betta,
how do you plan on heating the tank?
make sure there is a lid on your tank too as bettas like to jump

its big enough but you'll need to do water changes every other day
