3ltr Guppie Tank

ive got 1 male and 2 pregnant females in a 3ltr
its got 300mls of substrate
1 ornament
no light
no filter
whats the best way to run this setup

A 3 liter tank is too small for those fish though.

With no filter you are going to need to do water changes everyday to keep the Ammonia and NitrIte at zero.

just a temp home but will be on top of ammonia, nitrites

Okay yeah, make sure your ammonia and nitrite does not register anything more than zero on your test kit if at all possible.

What is the room temp where the tank is?

Man, you are just doing water changes left and right now! With this tank now, and your Cichlid tank, it seems like you got your work cut out for ya!

yeah id charge hourly rate but i couldnt afford to pay myself! i think i deserve a

temp is approx 77 its what you call fall over here so it pretty much perfect temps at the moment

You could easily make a very simple bubble filter but if you don't have an airpump thenwater changes are your only option. Perhaps you could go and buy a 5 litre water bottle or a bin with a binliner filled with water in would be a better option you could then put a filter in and use it as a guppy fry raising tank.

Will be a hell of a lot better for temporarily housing your guppies. They cost less than a tenner and you can get them from loads of places. I've seen tubs like that which can hold up to 17 gallons of water , so getting one as a fry tank should be perfect. Or just the biggest one you can get.

Just set it up like a normal tank with a basic internal cannister filter (cycled obviously ) and a heater, and away you go. Just cut some notches/holes in the edge of the lid to allow heater and filter wires to come out so you can shut the lid properly.

got a new filter it is an ELITE MINI 220l/hr made by hagan
