So im back in the tropical fish world and have my 36l tank free after my last bamboo shrimp passed away.

Tanks today been emptied, cleaned, and refilled.

Plan on finding a Betta now, tanks fully cycled after 18months of shrimp.

A boring pic but the start...

you need to be adding ammonia while it's empty so that the bacteria don't die :/

Well its a good job im homing a few young Venezuela cories ;)

Found an old ornament for shelter and a few plastic plants (which will have to come out when i find a betta).

And heres how it is thus far!....

Must add, the substrate isnt as sharp as it looks... I did the tights test :p

Looking very good! That tank is going to look brilliant with a betta in it. And those corys are so cute! I think your green plant on the right side is probably fine because of the rounded leaves but you're right, the other two do look a little jaggedy. I've just got some silk plants in my tank but it seems to be working well thus far :)

Maybe put a background on to make the colours stand out more? I am partial to black BGs myself

Both projects looking good so far. I really need to get a tank to house a betta myself
