It is unlikely that your tank is cycled. Get the master API test kit and you will likely see the ammonia go up then nitrites then nitrates. I recommend testing every day and using Seachem prime so as to make the ammonia and nitrite less harmful to any fish you have. Leave the filter alone for a few months so it can establish the right kind of bacteria to deal with ammonia and then nitrite. If you have to clean it clean it in a bucket of tank water. Don’t clean it with tap water! I did that when starting and caused a bacterial bloom in my aquarium. The chlorine in tap water can kill beneficial bacteria and have to start over at square one.I used bacterial starter that even stated that it allowed for the instant addition of fish but I waited 2 days after I added it to get some fish and I didn't add the fish all at once. Thanks for your concern though and Happy Fish Keeping to you as well
Those quick start bacteria bottles indicating immediate addition of fish is the hard way of cycling a tank because you need to do a fish in cycle. I really enjoyed the troubleshooting but if I knew I would have done a fishless cycle so my fish would be at less risk. Good luck!
