what is the best oddball i can have in a 33gal tank, with tetratec1200 external filter, an external heater, rocks, sand(maybe coral, if needs be) ???

i am open to ideas, i dont mind just one, a pair or many inhabitants

You could have a african butterfly fish but just one. I have one in my 30" long gallon tank

I would say figure of 8 puffers and some bumble bee gobys...or dwarf puffers!

You could have 2 F8 (15 g each...correct me if I am wrong though!)

Depends on how 'odd' you wanted to go but I think mudskippers are pretty cool. Theres an excellent article on nmonks website HERE thats worth a read.

you could have a Iridescent Shark Catfish but if you wanted to keep it longer you would have to get a BIG tank they get HUGE! :D

I'm Not saying anything about that ^

African Butterfly fish are a possibility but they don't actually do anything tbh?

channa would be Cool, and I'm sure Nelly would sell you a few ;)

moving away from fish you could easily go with one musk turtle, a newt and frog setup or possibly an African Land Crab with a few dithers
