yes, frozen daphnia was the food that smelled like feet 
i just mix it in wtih teh bloodworms and convince myself that the fry must be eating SOME of it 
i hope

It's not frozen,it's preserved and canned. You just keep it in the fridge cutecotton

fishy: i see some blue streaks on them the color isn't very obvious yet, and yesterday i think i caught some crowsn in there their

It does reak when it goes bad. No cc,it's not alive...but it's not frozen It's just canned,kind of like a relish
One of my 4 week olds almost choked to death on a frozen bloodworm last night I thought he was a goner and I removed him and put him in about an inch of water in a cup and said a prayer.He was belly up and thrashing around. First I held him in my hand a debated on trying to pull it out. I came back a couple of hours later and there was a pretty big bloodworm sitting on the bottom and him swimming around Not trying to hijack....just a warning to make sure they don't overstuff themselves and that the pieces are small enough...I think my situation was a combo of both.

whoa, tha tis a freaky freaky story wuv! One of the fry also tried to eat a way too big piece, and ended up having half of it stuck out, so i used tweezers and kinda moved it a iltlte for him, and he managed to spit it out...turns out that he really needed a gulp of air, it was the first thing he did after he managed to spit out the worm jacblades

) i feel bad now.
i thought it was supposed to be stinky...although it wasnt that way when i first opened it... (funny-and i thought i had common sense)(i did throw the 1/2 empty jar away after a while though-when i began to dread opening it...)
i guess i cant go through the jars fast enough

I'm pretty sure they do get some oxygen... just not enough to sustain them indefinitely.
