It's not frozen,it's preserved and canned. You just keep it in the fridge

  I thought he was a goner and I removed him and put him in about an inch of water in a cup and said a prayer.He was belly up and thrashing around. First I held him in my hand a debated on trying to pull it out. I came back a couple of hours later and there was a pretty big bloodworm sitting on the bottom and him swimming around

) Exactly,they're suffocating. Bettas draw zero oxygen from the water after they get their labyrinths.cutecotton said:...turns out that he really needed a gulp of air, it was the first thing he did after he managed to spit out the worm
