Will a pair of 3 spot gourami's co exist in a large tank with a pair of Pearl gourami's?

Possibly, if your tank is big enough. Otherwise they'll be fighting for territory all the time.

600L?

Is sexing 3 spots the same as sexing pearls?

I think it's pretty much the same as other big gouramis. The male has a long and pointed dorsal fin while the female's is short and rounded.

Don't gouramis do better in 1:2 ratios? I didn't think they paired.....

1:2 ratio is only recommended because the male can be quite aggressive towards the female. By having 2 females it halves the stress.
Well thats what iv always been lead to believe anyway. Im hoping due to the size of my tank, i wont have this issue.

I keep them together but it's very shaky at times & I don't have a male Three Spot in there.  The Pearls by nature are much more docile than the Three Spots so I keep a pair of Pearls with a single female Three Spot and a female Paradise Fish.  IT works for me but I'm not sure I'd recommend it.

Similar, yes.  The males Three Spots have a long pointed dorsal fin and the anal fin is also larger.  Females have a rounder belly.

Are those Tiger Barbs I see in your signature?  They don't play nice with most Gouramis because the G's feelers are too tempting for the little fin nippers.  The Gouramis will fight back, but the Barbs will just swim back to their shoal & get lost in the crowd.  It's a shame too, I had them together & that started happening after only a week of them being together.

I have barbs with pearl gouramis and angels and never had problems. No agression or nipping except between the barbs. The Barbs are too interested with themselves

And I have done so for 2 years

Maybe female 3 spots is the way forward:)

It also looks like you have a lot of little Tigers in your tank.  They are amazing creatures no doubt.  Supposedly having many of them tends to keep their nipping between themselves.  I had probably had problems because I only had 5 of them at the time.  One would nip my male Three Spot & he'd give chase only to lose them in the crowd!

BTW, I know the pic is small but I can almost tell that's a female Three Spot Gourami at the top right side just by her shape.  I would try mixing 3 female Three Spots of different color variants, with a trio of Pearl Gouramis in a tank as large as yours is.

I have heard this and it seems to work with me. I have 40 lol nutty fish love watching them.
The fish in my sig is a female Pearl. I have a male and a female. Dont own any 3 spots yet but I want some. My main concern was compatability between my exsisting pearls and 3 spots

I think il take your advice and get 3 females 3 spots but I think im gona leave my pearls as a pair as they seem to follow each other everywhere and I dont want to upset that.
