There is a shop close to me which if they don't have it will order it in for you and they do delivery.

They are called "Tyne Valley Aquatics" - google them and they have an email address and phone number; it may be worth asking them.

I'm positive our garden centres have them in their fish departments too; it'll be 3 plants for £10 as well. Like I said I'll look when I call in tonight and let you know.

EDIT: I guess I should say that the shop I recommended are generally pretty good; although I contacted them about ordering plants in and they were quite expensive; and they actually sell the plants in the shop cheaper than they would order it in for me

I have two of these exact plants I believe and they grow manic and are gorgeous
I also happen to live in London (harrow) well close enough

I have a 3rd growth shooting off... I think have to double check, once I'm home ill upload a few pictures. Got a little bit of algae on it not much just im trying to get my co2 level good so it stops

If you want it it's your for 1/2p. Hehe

MSG me or something and I'll sort it out for you for free assuming it's the plant and the offshoot if good enough to survive

What about

Which I've had before and as long as you've got enough lighting grows pretty quickly and looks like the photo.

No fair :shout:

I was excited but that is an eco variant not a giant hygo. The saga continues I guess.

Hey ShoC

I Just took a look at your planted journal. Great pics I was hoping to see it there but I'll wait for your internet to get back up.
:good:

My search ended today...

The lfs that I had mentioned earlier passed my number on to a hobbyist whom I have just bought my giant hygro from. It won't be with me until the end of the week but I'm glad I no longer have to search anymore.

So just wanted to say cheers for all your input and advice, it's so very much appreciated.

I do have a question about terracotta rings and pots but I'll save that for another thread.
