2nd tank brainstorming

Hey all,
Dad wants a tank apparently. I told him I'd help him if he did it right. He wants a big cichlid tank, like multiple oscars big. He said he would go up to a 200 gallon. Is that big enough?

I'm worried it might get too hairy if they don't all get their own 2 feet.

I don’t know anything about oscars but I think that would be to small for 2. Also show him other cichlids like green terrors, severum, etc

Nah he wants more than one lol. He has this really weird love for rock dwellers so I might help him get a nice like 75 rock dweller tank. Could be cool.

200 gallons tank is about 760 liters which is at least 6 feet in length.
It can fit many types of large fish.

Why don't you suggest the Eartheater species to your dad?
There are many species for him to choose.

Why don't you suggest the Eartheater species to your dad?

He really only likes oscars because he used to have a big tank full of them down the street from him. I've been showing him other cichlids so he might open his mind. He likes flowerhorns so thats cool.

Oh, I have done some extensive research on flowerhorns. It would be a 100 gallon bare bottom tank. No decorations and far away from loud noises and my community tank.

Well, narrow down exactly what your dad wants, then go from there.
