I have to say, I never liked saltwater tanks because the corals come from the ocean and now there are barely any left. Isn't it cruel to take corals from the ocean? Or is there a law or something that I haven't heard of?
But I have to say, @PheonixKingZ, your tanks are absolutely stunning!

The import of wild corals from places like Florida and Hawaii have been banned for a couple of years now. The export of fish is also illegal.

You can still collect coral from the wild, but you have to have a hard to get license.

I would say that 99% of all the coral in this hobby have been tank grown. I know for a fact that all of mine have.

Tried to get some pictures of the new heads coming in on the back… little photobombers at it again.

Cool.

What is in the reef candy? I used to culture my own pthyto, rots and pods for my tanks because there wasn't really a good ready made alternative at the time. Suspect that has improved a lot since then though.

Reef Candy is powder that can be used to feed filter feeders, fish, coral, sponges, etc. I find that it’s a little too small to feed the fish, and that’s why I stick to feeding them mysis and NLS.

Here’s the list of ingredients:

Ingredients: Mysis Shrimp Siftings, Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs, Bloodworm Powder, High Quality Fish Meals, Crustacean Meal, Arctic Krill Meal, Fish Oil (Purified), Phospholipids, Minerals, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Antioxidants and Immunostimulants.

Really good ingredients. I just got this today actually, so I fed the favia, digi, and the palys. They all seemed to like it.
