Synirr, I h ave one of those as well, starting out as a baby bulb. There's a 3 foot one in one of my lfs scientificly named and I'll pick up the name sometime this week. Real great plant. I love it.

They start out as bulbs too, that's why the roots are so cool

The lovely wavy-leafed plant is Aponogeton ulvaceus from Sri Lanka. It does grow very tall.

Go for it Naughtygirlw, it's super easy. The plants do their own thing. I think the key to something simpler is to not go aboe 2WPG and stick with tried and true hardy plants. I have four planted tanks now, and it's really a lovely environment for the fish.

Synirr, that tank is lovely and the fish combination is great. So much better than my usual tetras and such. No wonder it's your pride and joy. Beautiful Aponogeton! You should consider posting this tank in the planted section. How long has this one been running? What's the wattage of your lighting?
