Right now it's got some Longfin Blue Danio and a pair of Black Neons (from 6 originally; bad batch) keeping it cycled/being quarantined but once the tank is settled and established, I'm going to put 10 Pandas in there for display (hopefully breeding too) purposes. 12 if my LFS can get replacements for the two lost before they arrived. I've added some Anachris and Java Moss in there and I'm hoping it'll take root firmly and grow more. The moss had started well but took a hit during the substrate change (which is now a quarter inch layer of Black Moon Sand).
looks good i love panda cories, shame theyre quite sensitive though. As a bit of constructive criticism, maybe add a black background and some more plants to hide the heater etc? looks good though.
The heater is probably going to come out or be hidden behind the larger wood during the winter. The room it's in stays pretty warm year round and since Pandas prefer cooler water to the previous inhabitants (80°F), I don't really need it. The background is the old one and reversable with a black background so once I get around to it, easy as pie. Thanks for the tips. I definitely think the black background will help a lot. At the very least, it'll help hide the filter intake.
