18 watt bulb, no c02 or ferts. Will get java moss soon, hopefully I can make it really planted in the near future. I'm also interested in some java fern. What other plants do you think do well in low light, other than anubias?

I have around 1.3 wpg and have great success with dwarf riccia (floating and on the floor) and also vallis. You could try some of those?

Are you sure that's a 29 gallon tank ? I know looks can be deceiving, but it looks a lot smaller than that :look:

Yep, it's definately a 29 gallon (30"x12"x18"). I might try vallis, maybe in the future. I'm not sure about the riccia because from what I've read, it needs a lot of light, and I have less than half the light you have. But that was the same with amazon sword, and get it grows in my tank. I'm not sure, maybe riccia. Any other suggestions?

You'll be fine with riccia I bet- apparently the dwarf variety needs more light than the larger Flutains variety - mines dwarf and pearling like crazy.

OohFeeshy - i cant stop my cabomba growing in low light either - i thought i may just be lucky so didnt mention it - do you know what variety yours is?

I've tried cabomba and it died really quickly. The leaves turned brown and fell off and created a huge mess. There are still pieces of brown leaves all over the tank. It's so annoying.

So you are saying the I should get some riccia and it will probably survive?

Crypt Wendetti (red and green) grow well in low light. I have less than 1 wpg on my tank as well.

No, just a cheapy one picked up from a petshop. TBH, the only plants I can get to stay alive are java fern (which muliplys like crazy), java moss, which doesn't seem to grow at all and cabomba, which grows quickly. Amazon swords don't do too bad but tend to fall apart after a few months.
