29 Gal Suggestions

My moms 29 gal is empty and now she wants to restock. she doesn't really know much about types of fish so i posted here. She said she just wants something with color. In experience she has kept fish for 13 years.

hello cowbla i had the same problem once. "do i pick this, do i pick that" i suggest a paridise fish (if you have them over there) as your star fish, a pair of dwarf gouramis which have alot of personality, and a group of small fish (not to small, at least 3 inch long and pretty skinny, some kuhli loaches if your filter is very safe, since kuhli loaches are known for disapearing for days in filters than coming out the other end un-harmed!) about 4 of them and a pleco. apple snails should keep it clean if you want some.


when you buy them make sure to ask your pet shop /or breeder what the ph and temp and replicate thier conditions in your tank so the fishes water conditions don't change to much and the fish should have a warm welcome to your new tank.
