Fish Crazy
Have done a bit of gardening tonight as it was literally resembling a jungle in there. Here's what came out:
It still looks like a jungle just a bit more ropey now:
Oops for leaving the tv on. Still a work in progress hence the visible mesh/superglue here.
Lily is a bit bare as I've just had to remove most of the submerged leaves. It's growing to the surface readily but only a couple of submerged leaves at the moment - does anyone have any tips?
And by moonlight:
Doesn't look as bright as that in the flesh, the shadows created by the surface ripple make a great effect.
Here's the main man a couple of weeks ago, haven't got a good picture of him flaring yet, looks stunning when he does:
And one of his (much smaller!) ladies:
I'm always changing things, have just ordered 5 new plants that I've never kept before. I like to experiment, and now that I'm dosing injected Co2 and EI ferts I feel up to the challenge of some more demanding plants.
So this is what's in there at the moment (that I can remember), left to right-ish:
Alternanthera reineckii pink (I think)
C. bullosa
C. balansae
A. crispus
Plagonium affine
Java fern
Windelov fern
Fissidens fontanus
Crinum calamistratum
Hygrophila corymbosa
Anubias nana petite
E. bleheri
Peacock moss
A. natans
Tiger lily
Christmas moss
Hygrophila polysperma
E. ozelot green
and the fish:
apisto cacatuoides
neon tetra
glowlight danio
bumblebee goby
khuli loach
clown plec
armano shrimp
I think that's most of them! Photos aren't great but let me know what you think. I'm always changing things and thinking about some bigger changes soon but who knows. Comments welcome.
