i have a 20 uk gallon community tank that i am thinking re stocking, the curret fish were my first, and i didnt know how big they were goin to get.

i have a beautiful pair of German blue rams which are staying. heres my idea.

Pr German Rams
4 Flame tetras
4 ottos
1 L134 Leopard Frog Pleco
2 adf's
1 kuhli loach
1 zebra snail

i also want either a pair of peacock gudgeon/goby or a pair of Aphyosemion australe killies, or both if its possible.

i understand these may not be compatible, but from what i have read up they are both peaceful species.

my tank will have a sand substrate, lots of plants, bog wood, caves etc. its 30x12x15, it had a fluval 304.

the ph is 6.5/6.6 and the temp around 74.

with both the killies and gobies in i'd be looking at aounrd 38" of fish when all fully grown.

thanks for looking Tom

Going by the calculator in the pinned topic, you shouldn't have any more than 30" of fish in that tank.

Remember the 1" of fish per gallon guideline, but also try using the calculator. It will work out the maximum inches of fish based on your surface area. I trust the calculator, and never go over its recommendations.

Try dropping the idea of the peacock gobies, and consider killies. I believe they'll stay smaller. Also, kuhlis should be in groups, so you'll need more than one. Perhaps if you forego the ADFs, you could put in 3-5 kuhlis. Their length is not what matters when considering them for stocking, as they're a relatively light bioload. They're also a fairly small fish given their diameter compared to length, so think of them more as a neon or harlequin rasbora in terms of stocking.
