Hi I currently have a large inch blood parrot in my 20 gallon chiclid tank. He is bossing around the much smaller jack dempseys. As well one of my 6 cories died. Is the blood parrot to blame? Should i slap him on the ground?
MY current stocking is:
blood parrot
jack dempsey
5 corys (2panda, albino, fake juli, peppered)
pleco
clown louch

I think it might be the blood parrot. If he is aggressive should i just kill him?\

thx for help

Your fish need a bigger tank, a 20g is too small for a blood parrot and jd's. The stressful environment is the reason why your blood parrot is being aggressive. Get a bigger tank or give them away.

don't kill your fish! that sucks! unless you're willing to buy a larger aquarium, atleast 75 gallons, then you can always give your fish to a local fish store. sometimes they will give you store credit for other fish. the fish you currently have grow to be way to large, so, if you love cichlids, get yourself some rams or apistos. you'll like them just as much.
