2 Tanks 1 Bridge

So I have been thinking about this for a while since setting up my girlfriends tank recently (it is a goldfish tank based around the whole luck and negative energy thing)and I was thinking of using a water bridge once I upgrade my tank but was wondering if it would be possible to make 1 tank I guess have a half aquatic half land set up and 1 have a full aquatic set up but sadly I don't know how I would really go about doing it lol.
So any advice or opinions would be nice since I have almost no clue how I would do this

So here is kind of a quick draft I did (sorry for the quality but I don't have my tablet to do a better drawing)
I want both to be tropical since as stated lower down I am not a goldfish fan lol

No both tropical since I am not a fan of goldfish

With a bridge set up as you have proposed, you could indeed run two tanks with a single filter. The fish would also make use of that bridge. We have had several posts here demonstrating similar arrangements that worked out well.

Well that is good I am just worried about setting up partial land and how that would work with the filter running

Glad TO hear this is possible I was debating on doing sothing liek this tom connect a couple 20 gallons to my 29 and let my crayfish run rampant and give him a going to a different pond feel. I was considering like hamster tubes for teh connectors.
