2 New Girls

well lately i have had a soft spot for female bettas and i went to wal-mart and picked up these two

im hoping to get another 30 gallon and start a sorority tank

here they are:

princess, (i couldnt refuse to get her i saw her and it was love at first site)
she was very skinny when i got her but she has fattened up a but

this is DarkAngel, i fell in love with her but she is alot bigger than princess but i took a chance

and here are the two together

Nice finds. Is there only two in the same tank? If so that will heighten the aggression you need atleast 2 more. Oh and sorry if there are more and if you knew that already...

But tank212 is right you need at least three together or they can't create a healthy pecking order.

Actually it really needs to be 4 or more together because in some cases 2 larger females can gang up on the one smaller one.

i will, but its not often around here that you find female bettas

i have another female but she is a full grown pissed off women, she used to be in a tank with another female, but i moved them into their own bowls

she got angry so i put them side by side, she was happy, then one day my other female died and from then on the only thing aloud in her new 10 gallon tank is cory's

Haha I have to same 3g Eclipse system as you . I use it for snails. Anyways, get a bigger tank and get like 2 more females to spread out agression as suggested already, or seperate them. Unless they're spawn sisters which they're not as I'm guessing, theres a low low chance that they'll get along well in a smaller tank

Guppies, if you can make it up to bolton, just go West on Queen Street, then turn North on Hwy 50 keep on Hwy 50, you will pass a walmart plaza, with a Kelsey's on the edge next to the road, go up a small hill, then down, pass a shopper's drug mart, keep going straight, then pass a Zerhs grocery store, the road just past the Zerhs store you will turn right (right after the BBQ Jacks restaurant) then just a littttttle bit up that road on the left hand side is PetWorld, they always have tonnes of really pretty females. I already bought two from them (kept in separate tanks now) but there you will kind a bunch!!

Are you talking about Bolton Ontario? Hmm thanks if you are. My dad works there in Bolton one day when i come up with him i will have to beg him to take em there ;D
